Stand Behind was founded by two sisters, Michelle and Ellie, in the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Living in one of the most affected states in the U.S. at the time, they aimed to fight the pandemic in any way they could. When Sarah*, a close family friend, struggled to work long hospital shifts, in addition to searching for limited supplies to keep up with the laborious routine of disinfecting themselves and their home, they decided to form a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping frontline workers like Sarah. By donating much needed PPE and other supplies such as masks, disinfectant wipes, and bleach to hospitals and other places in need, they hoped to provide relief by lessening the burden of finding these critical items. 

Now, as other countries are flattening the curve, cases in Houston, and other cities in the U.S are skyrocketing. Michelle, Ellie, and the rest of the Stand Behind team have a steadfast mission to do their part to fight the battle. Since founding, Stand Behind has strategically partnered with 2 disaster-relief organizations and has been established in cities bordering Mexico, along the East Coast, and in countries outside of the U.S. that are also in dire situations. With Chapters in countries such as Cameroon and South Africa, they have expanded their target to help more people and make a bigger impact. Join the team, or help the drive by donating today.
